Description
Very early discussions have started between the cities of Lincoln Park and Allen Park to explore the option of sharing one city hall building between the two communities. The communities border each other and both have older and inefficient buildings that are in need of major renovations. It has been proposed that the two could share one city hall to serve both communities. This would save on utilities and allow the possibility of joint services such as building department services, water billing and assessing that both communities provide. There is no formal cost estimate of savings at this time.
