County-wide 911 Dispatch Service Center for all Police, Fire, Livingston County Emergency Medical Services (LCEMS) & Huron-Clinton Metro-Park Authority (HCMA).  Completely funded by 911 Surcharges, so there is not any direct government funding for the service.

Having a single countywide dispatch center has eliminated the need for the local units and other authorities to create and staff their own centers.  The saving to the other entities is significant but not easily identified due to the length of time the center has been in operation.  This also provides consistent policies and procedures across all public safety entities.
