Description
Expand the Genesee Intermediate School District fiber from the corner of Seventh St and Church St. to the Genesee County building and on to the City of Flint municipal center.
Both the city and county will realize cost savings by jointly sharing the costs of installation and allowing both governmental entities to use the bandwidth. This service is currently being provided through the more expensive AT&T and/or Comcast cable.
Barrier: The C-GAP application was not awarded. Project dropped due to no available funding and no available personnel this year.
