A municipal or school district dynamic dashboard generated within Munetrix satisfies the State of Michigan requirement for a community dashboard. Included with a Level III license is an iframe script to embed the dashboard within the municipality’s own website. The School Dashboard will display 3 columns of data which is required for the State of Michigan Best Practices requirements. The Municipal Dashboard has the ability to display three columns of values;

1.   Current Year

2.   Prior Year

3.   Target

Munetrix will automatically determine which fiscal years to display in the dashboard. It will first find the most recent year with a Data Status of Actual, Audited, Amended Budget or Historic and make that the Current Year. The Current Year minus one will become the Prior Year for comparisons. The Current Year plus one will become the Target Year.

A fiscal editor for a municipality will see two utility buttons on the Dashboard screen; Webmaster Tools and Dashboard Item Picker.
