Public Safety Editor

The Public Safety Editor is a special role. Before a Public Safety Editor can begin editing data, a User Administrator will verify the user’s right to edit data. If approved, the Public Safety Editor will be given editing rights for the School District selected during the registration process. If additional School Districts need to be included for editing rights an email request must be sent to the appropriate User Administrator. For a list of User Administrators see, “Appendix I: User Administrators” on page 53.

A Public Safety Editor can edit the schedules for Fire Drills, Tornado Drills, and Lockdown Drills. In addition, the Public Safety Editor can manage the data associated with each building in the district. The Public Safety Editor cannot edit financial data.
