School Annual Data Upload

School Districts in Michigan are required to upload financial detail each year to the State Department of Education (MDE). The collection database is called the Financial Information Database (FID) and is managed by The Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI).

The same file that is loaded to the MDE can be quickly uploaded to Munetrix. CSV, TXT and XML file formats are accepted depending on the software vendor that is selected. The upload utility can be found in the My Profile link of the User’s Corner Welcome Button.

Fiscal Year: The Year drop down will automatically populate with the first fiscal year after the most recent Historic Year. For example, if 2012 is the most recent fiscal year in your data with the Data Status of Historic, than the year drop down will begin with 2013.

Scenario: The Scenario field will default to Baseline. If you have more than one Scenario for the year selected, each Scenario will appear in the drop down.

Software Type: You must provide the Financial Software vendor name that is used by your school district. The vendor selection will determine how many files are expected and the file extension of those files (CSV, TXT, and XML).
