These steps will create a list of cost centers to be imported into the MySQL table named: c_lucostcenters.

1.  Create another new tab named CostCenters

2.  Filter the entire Trial Balance on Column A begins with “Dept “

3.  Copy and paste the Departments in CostCenters!A2

4.  With the list still highlighted click on “Data – Remove Dupliactes”

5.  Insert 4 Columns to the left of Column A

6.  Name the Columns: LccMunID, LccSscID, LccSection, LccCode, Source, LccDescription, LccStateCode

7.  Populate Column A with the MunID

8.  Populate Column B with “1”. NOTE: this is a placeholder (Not Identified in Munetrix) and will be properly tagged once in Munetrix.

9.  Populate Column C with “Expense”

10. Populate Column D with =RIGHT(LEFT(E2,8),3) and paste down

11. Populate F2 with =PROPER(RIGHT(E2,LEN(E2)-9)) and paste down

12. Populate Column G with “MI”

13. Import CostCenters into the MySQL tbale named “c_lucostcenters” and then tag the departments from the local unit home page in Munetrix
