Two separate downloads must be performed for each year. Grades 3 – 8 are stored in one tab and high school in another tab. An additional table must be downloaded that provides the Student Growth Percentiles. These are not stored with the Proficiency scores.

1.  Goto MISchool Data, Student Assessment, Grades 3-8 Assessments

2.  Apply some filters just to get the “View Report” button then click download

3.  For current year Click “Statewide Data For Report as CSV” (will be all years and subjects). For prior year you will need to request an email delivery.

4.  Truncate MySQL table: “aa_mi_se_mstep_source”.

5.  Import the CSV file into this table.

6.  Run the SQL scripts stored in: “SE MI Import M-Step Aggregate Public”

7.  Once imported, you will ned to refresh the public Tableau dataXplorer and Tableau Peer Group Levels of Proficiency chart
