Three Excel files must be downloaded that combined will provide the millage rates by local unit. The Authority Rate file lists the millage rates for each authority but does not identify which local units are serviced by the authority.

The Authority Taxable Value file maintains the Local Unit Code, and the Authority Code. This file must be joined to the Authority Millage table to get a list of combinations.

We maintain a table in MySQL (c_revenueshaingcodes) that translates a Local Unit’s Revenue Sharing Code into their MunID.

1.   Download the Local Unit Millage file and the Authority Millage file

2.   Download and Import the Authority Taxable Value Excel file into the table: aa_mi_mu_authority_tv.

3.   Run the SQL scripts in: MU MI Millage Utilities Personal Portal
