A detailed listing of outstanding debt obligations has become an essential part of fiscal transparency for public units. Munetrix provides a method of storing, reporting, and analyzing these obligations. The Debt Manager app is found on the municipal or school home page just under the Contacts grid in the My Apps section. The public will not see the Debt Manager App. Only fiscal editors for the respective local unit will have access to this app. However, some of the reports genereated by the Debt Manager app can be visible to the public. In addition to transparency, the Debt Manager app is intended to provide an alternative to debt obligation worksheets maintained in electronic spreadsheets. In some states, debt payment schedules are required for transparency reporting.
