Public Safety Drills app

The Public Safety Drills (PSD) contains a collection of records representing the dates and times that safety drills are scheduled for Fire, Severe Weather, and Security Lockdowns. The module includes several reports for analysis of the schedules and public transparency. All but the public report is hidden behind the security firewall. For this reason you must have editing rights for a specific school to utilize this feature. There is a separate user role titled “Public Safety Editor” for this purpose. By default, Fiscal Editors have editing rights to the PSD as well. For more information about registering as a Public Safety Editor see, Role.

The PSD is for the School Edition only. The PSD is not immediately available to a school district or PSA. The module must be enabled for each individual School District or PSA wishing to utilize the module. When the module is enabled, a record header is automatically inserted for every active building in the district. In addition, 10 drills are automatically inserted for each Building; 5 Fire Drills, 3 Lockdowns, and 2 Tornado drills.
